Chelsea received a BS in Physiology from the University of Washington in 2017 and worked in Applied Behavior Analysis before receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute for Health Professions in Boston. She also worked in New Hampshire, Maine, and New York during the COVID pandemic before graduating in 2022. She has worked in acute care hospitals, inpatient rehab, and hospital-based outpatient therapy seeing a variety of diagnoses from traumatic, orthopedic, vestibular, pelvic to sports-related. She then went on to complete a fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy in Dallas, Texas through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy with special focus in differential diagnosis, hypermobility disorders, neural dynamics, and manual therapy efficacy before returning back to her home state of Washington. Chelsea’s specializes in well-rounded and individual care across the injury spectrum, regardless of associated conditions, chronicity of conditions, or age, and has a passion for helping those who have experienced difficulty navigating their conditions.

Chelsea is a teaching assistant for courses in differential diagnosis, electrical dry needling, spinal manipulation, and vestibular for the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, She has worked on best practice protocols for conditions including golfer’s elbow, ACL and achilles research. She volunteers at screenings for marathons, martial arts, dancers, and high schoolers and is very passionate about prevention, longevity, and building resilience and self-efficacy in addition to traditional rehabilitation.

Special interests:
Hypermobility spectrum disorders, TMJ and chronic pain conditions including rheumatological and autoimmune, return to recreational and competitive sports, longevity and general strength training across the lifespan

Outside the clinic:
Spending time with her husband and friends trying new restaurants especially coffee shops, trying various new exercises out to use with her patients, reading, hiking, rock climbing, and other outdoor activities
